Looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in end-to-end Data Warehouse (DWH) design, dimensional modelling, and enterprise data architecture. Candidate must have experience building data warehouses from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & implement enterprise data warehouses & data marts
- Perform source system analysis & data profiling
- Develop conceptual, logical & physical data models
- Design Star Schema, Snowflake, 3NF models
- Define SCD (Type 1/2/3), transformations & data quality rules
- Collaborate with ETL/ELT teams for pipeline development
- Ensure data governance, lineage & metadata management
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills
- 5+ yrs in Data Modelling / DWH
- Robust in ER Modelling & Dimensional Modelling (Kimball/Inmon)
- Tools: ERWin, PowerDesigner, SQLDBM, Lucidchart
- Strong SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning
- Cloud: Azure / AWS / GCP
- ETL Tools: ADF, Informatica, Talend, DBT, SSIS
- DBs: SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Oracle
- Good to Have Data Vault Modelling
- BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
- DevOps / CI-CD
- Must Have Experience building DWH from scratch
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end DWH lifecycle
