Accountant Head Job Description

- Handle complete accounting and finance operations independently.
- Manage GST compliance, including GST calculation, reconciliation, returns, and related documentation.
- Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
- Handle TDS calculation, deductions, payments, reconciliation, and TDS return filing.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the company/business.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation,



and regular account closing.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and MIS.
- Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and government departments when required.
- Handle all accounting activities independently from day-to-day bookkeeping through statutory compliance and final reporting.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
