Job summary:
The Senior Technical Architect is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable data, analytics, and integration solutions across the Global Supply Chain and Quality domains. The position serves as both a Solution Architect and Data Architect, partnering with Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Domain Experts, and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver enterprise-grade data products and analytics capabilities.
This is not a pure governance or review position. The successful candidate will actively contribute to solution design, data architecture, technical implementation guidance, data modeling, platform optimization, engineering enablement, and resolution of complex technical challenges across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Technical Leadership
Lead end-to-end architecture design for complex data, analytics, and integration solutions.
Drive technical Solutions that are appropriate to meet the business needs.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.
Define reusable solution patterns, standards, and reference architectures for GSC and Quality data domains.
Provide technical leadership across multiple product teams and initiatives.
Conduct architecture reviews and promote alignment with enterprise standards.
Identify opportunities for modernization, automation, self-service analytics, and AI/ML enablement.
Data Architecture
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Develop scalable and maintainable architectures for structured and semi-structured data.
Define data integration patterns across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, MES, AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Quality & Manufacturing Systems, and other enterprise platforms.
Establish and reinforce data quality, lineage, metadata, security, and governance standards.
Partner with domain architects and data engineers to optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
Hands-on Technical Delivery
Collaborate directly with hands-on development with the engineering teams on solution implementation.
Prepare report-out with evaluation results and recommendations
Review and contribute to SQL, Python, dbt, ETL/ELT, and cloud-native solutions.
Support troubleshooting of complex production issues and architectural roadblocks.
Guide CI/CD, DevOps, release management, code quality, and technical documentation practices.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations.
Facilitate technical design workshops and architecture discussions.
Bridge communication between business teams and technical delivery teams.
Support technical roadmaps, portfolio planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.

10+ years of experience in Data and Analytics, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years serving as a lead architect, solution architect, data architect, or senior technical leader.
Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, and integration solutions.
Experience working with global, distributed teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical, hands-on architect who can move seamlessly between architecture strategy and technical execution. They bring deep expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies, data engineering, and enterprise integrations, combined with solid business acumen. They are equally comfortable defining a future-state architecture, facilitating a design decision, reviewing SQL and dbt models, assessing data pipelines, and working directly with engineers to resolve delivery challenges.
This individual will serve as a trusted technical advisor to the GSC Data & Analytics and Quality Data Product Teams, helping shape and deliver enterprise data products that support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Operational Excellence priorities.
