Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of Payroll or HRIS experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience.
- Solid, demonstrable experience with US Payroll processing and configuration across federal, multi-state and local requirements.
- Deep understanding of payroll taxation, withholding, deductions, garnishments, retirement deductions, imputed income, payroll accounting and year-end activities.
- Proven experience implementing payroll configuration changes triggered by legislative, regulatory or tax updates.
- Strong knowledge of payroll controls, reconciliation, auditability, testing, and issue diagnosis.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Workday Payroll certification.
- Experience supporting large, complex or multi-state US payroll environments.

Experience with payroll transformation, optimization, compliance, or production support programmers.
