About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Content Manager / Video Editor who can independently conceptualize, edit, and publish engaging short-form content for our social media platforms.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable with editing videos and planning content. This is a hands-on creative role where you will be responsible for taking raw footage, project visuals, ideas, and industry insights and turning them into high-quality, engaging social media content.
You should have a strong understanding of short-form content, storytelling, pacing, transitions, hooks, trends, and platform-specific formats.
The ideal candidate is someone who can think like a content creator and work like an editor.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Short-Form Video Editing:
Independently edit high-quality short-form videos for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
Work with raw footage, project videos, photographs, renders, animations, and existing brand assets.
Create engaging videos using strong hooks, storytelling, transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, music, and appropriate pacing.
Stay updated with current short-form video trends, editing styles, formats, sounds, and storytelling techniques.
2. Content Planning & Ideation
Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
Generate content ideas based on company projects, industry trends, current events, and relevant social media trends.
Develop concepts and scripts for reels, short-form videos, carousels, and other social formats.
3. Content Creation
Conceptualize and produce social-first content from ideation to final output.
Write basic scripts, hooks,



captions, and CTAs where required.
Work with internal teams to collect relevant footage, information, and project material.
Shoot/edit basic mobile-first content when required.
4. Social Media Management:
Publish and schedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
Understand the nuances of different platforms and adapt content accordingly.
Monitor content performance and identify formats/topics that generate better engagement.
Track trends and recommend timely content opportunities.
Maintain consistency in the brand’s tone, visual language, and content quality.

Required Skills:
2–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing and social media content creation.
Robust portfolio demonstrating short- form video content/Reels/Shorts .
Excellent understanding of short-form video storytelling and editing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple content requirements simultaneously.

Editing Tools:
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with at least one professional editing software and should be comfortable learning new tools.
Preferred Softwares:
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Canva
Other relevant video/motion graphics tools

AI tools : Familiarity with AI-based video, image, audio, captioning, and content-generation tools will be an advantage.

Good to Have:
Experience working with real estate, architecture, interior design, experience design, hospitality, or creative agencies.
Understanding of premium/luxury brand communication.
Experience of creating B2B content.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
Basic photography/videography skills.
Understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn analytics.
