Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to provide home-based therapy sessions for children requiring developmental and behavioural support.
The professional will visit the child’s home and conduct therapy sessions based on the child’s individual needs, with a focus on speech development, occupational therapy, communication skills, behaviour, and overall developmental improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home-based therapy sessions for children.
- Assess the child’s developmental, behavioural, communication, and functional needs.
- Provide appropriate speech and language development activities.
- Conduct occupational therapy-based activities to improve motor skills, coordination, sensory development, and daily living skills.
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on the child’s requirements.
- Work closely with parents and guide them on activities that can be continued at home.
- Monitor the child’s progress and maintain regular session records.
- Coordinate with other professionals,
if required, for the child’s overall development.
- Maintain a friendly, patient, and child-centered approach during sessions.
Eligibility
- Qualified and experienced professional in Psychiatry, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Child Development, or a related field.
- Relevant degree/certification and professional registration, wherever applicable.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Experience in home-based therapy will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working directly with children and their families.
Work Requirement
- Home visits are mandatory.
- Flexible session timings can be discussed based on the child’s and qualified’s availability.
