Job Title: Life Insurance Agent / Insurance Advisor

Job Summary:

As an LIC Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, understanding their financial protection and savings needs, and recommending suitable life insurance products. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing continuous service and support throughout the policy term.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and approach potential customers through personal networks, referrals, and other sources.

- Understand customers’ financial goals, protection needs, and investment requirements.

- Explain suitable LIC life insurance plans, benefits, premiums, and policy features.

- Assist customers with proposal forms, documentation, and policy-related processes.

- Generate new business and achieve assigned sales targets.

- Maintain regular contact with existing policyholders and provide after-sales service.

- Follow up on premium payments, policy renewals, and customer queries.

- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.





- Participate in LIC campaigns, meetings, training programs, and business development activities.

- Maintain professional and ethical standards while advising customers.

Requirements

- Minimum qualification as prescribed by LIC/IRDAI.

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build relationships and develop a customer network.

- Sales-oriented and self-motivated.

- Basic knowledge of financial products and willingness to learn.

- Prior sales or insurance experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
