A Corporate Salary Account Manager acquires, manages, and grows corporate client relationships for a bank or financial institution by handling employee salary accounts and cross-selling banking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Pitch and onboard recent corporate clients (companies) to set up bulk salary processing for their employees.
- Account Activation & Funding: Ensure corporate accounts are registered, activated, and funded within a specific timeframe (usually 3 months of opening).
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate HR/finance heads and resolve service escalations quickly.
- Cross-Selling & Deepening: Offer additional banking products to corporate employees, such as credit cards, loans, mobile/net banking,
and investment options (FD/RD).
- Compliance & Coordination: Coordinate with internal operation teams for smooth salary processing, account maintenance, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Market Mapping: Conduct catchment area mapping and market research to identify prospective companies and high-value target segments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or related fields.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate acquisition, or banking relationship management
