Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of Diesel Generators (DG Sets). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in generator maintenance and a robust understanding of diesel engine systems and electrical components.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, commissioning, and servicing of Diesel Generators.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in DG sets.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Inspect equipment and ensure optimal performance of generators.
- Maintain service records and prepare technical reports.
- Attend customer service calls and provide timely support.
- Coordinate with customers regarding maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Support spare parts identification and replacement activities.
- RequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in servicing Diesel Generators or related equipment.
- ITI, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, electrical systems, and control panels.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments when required.
