(i) LLB Degree from National Law University/ National Law Schools or other National Institutes of equal repute on the basis of their LLM CLAT scores.
(ii) Experience in Legal matters on contractual cases/Arbitration/ land acquisition etc., will be given weightage and preference.
Duties & Responsibilities:
(i) Monitoring of all arbitration and court cases at the PIU, including LA arbitration and court cases, commercial arbitration and court cases, NGT, consumer forums, etc.
(ii) Providing legal opinions on cases, if required.
(iii) Updating and monitoring case details on the Data Lake portal.
(iv) Checking/vetting of affidavits, applications, and petitions filed by NHAI.
(v) Liaising with NHAI counsels and monitoring the performance of advocates
(vi) Taking necessary steps for effective reduction of pending litigation.
(vii) Any other duty assigned by the concerned Project Director.
