- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.
- Manage company cash flow and working capital.
- Track project-wise revenue, expenses, profit margins and profitability.
- Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports for management.
- Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets.
2. Project Finance & Cost Control
- Maintain project-wise P&L;.
- Monitor project budgets, material costs, labour costs and subcontractor expenses.
- Review BOQs, purchase orders, work orders and vendor bills from a financial perspective.
- Identify cost overruns and report them to management.
- Track project advances and outstanding client payments.
3. Billing & Collection
- Supervise client billing as per agreements, BOQ and project milestones.
- Ensure timely submission of invoices and RA bills.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable / Outstanding Report.
- Follow up with the concerned teams for delayed collections.
- Monitor client advances, retention amounts and deductions.
4. Vendor & Purchase Finance
- Control vendor payments and payment schedules.
- Verify purchase invoices, quotations, POs and supporting documents.
- Maintain vendor outstanding and ageing reports.
- Ensure payments are released according to approved terms.
- Monitor subcontractor and labour payments.
5. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Supervise GST, TDS, income-tax and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with CA / tax consultants.
- Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory liabilities.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits.
6. Accounting & Audit
- Supervise day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
- Review bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and journal entries.
- Ensure accurate accounting of project expenses.
- Coordinate statutory, internal and financial audits.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and controls.
