Retail Salesman – Surat

Location: Surat, Gujarat | Job Type: Full Time

We are looking for a confident, target-oriented Retail Salesman to handle walk-in customers, understand requirements, demonstrate products, prepare quotations, close sales, and manage after-sales coordination.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle walk-in customers and understand their budget, requirements & project needs.

* Explain and demonstrate products, materials, quality, applications & pricing.

* Convert inquiries into quotations and orders.

* Follow up with customers and achieve sales targets.

* Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat/referral business.

* Prepare quotations and handle basic measurement & area calculations.

* Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, delivery & fitting teams.

* Manage customer leads, quotations and follow-ups through CRM/software.

Skills Required

* Valuable communication, sales & negotiation skills.





* Customer handling and follow-up skills.

* Basic measurement, calculation and quotation knowledge.

* Product/material understanding and design visualization ability.

* Basic knowledge of CRM, Excel/Google Sheets & WhatsApp Business.

* Target-oriented, presentable and willing to learn.

Experience

1–6 years in retail/showroom sales preferred. Experience in interiors, building materials, furniture, tiles, sanitaryware, hardware, lighting or home improvement is an advantage.

Freshers with good communication and sales skills can also apply.
