- Operate and set up VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) machines.
- Load and unload components safely.
- Perform machining operations as per drawings and specifications.
- Select and change cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures.
- Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Maintain machine and workplace cleanliness.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
- Identify basic machine or tooling issues and inform the supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Experience in VTL Machine Operation.
- Basic knowledge of machining and cutting tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of quality inspection.
Education: ITI / Diploma / Relevant Experience
