Position: Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
- GST Management: Stay updated with the latest GST regulations and ensure accurate filing and compliance.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain and manage financial records, including daily transactions and ledgers.
- Tally Operations: Efficiently use Tally software for accounting purposes.
- Balance Sheet Preparation: Draft and finalize balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Letter Drafting: Prepare and draft official correspondence and financial reports.
- Computer Operations: Proficiently use computers and various accounting software to manage financial data and reports.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and advising on financial performance.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate stock records and valuations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of GST regulations and compliance.
- Proficient in bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Expertise in using Tally software.
- Solid ability to draft and finalize balance sheets and official correspondence.
- Proficient in using computers and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
