We are looking for an experienced and skilled Continental & Italian Chef to prepare high-quality Continental and Italian dishes while maintaining excellent taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety standards.

- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental and Italian dishes as per menu and standards.
- Handle pasta, pizza, sauces, salads, soups, grills, and other specialty preparations.
- Develop and introduce new dishes and menu items when required.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Maintain proper food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards.
- Manage food preparation, mise en place, and kitchen operations efficiently.
- Monitor food stock, control wastage, and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Follow recipes, standard operating procedures, and food cost guidelines.
- Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff.




- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.

- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Continental and Italian cuisine.
- Expertise in pasta, pizza, sauces, risotto, grilled items, soups, and salads.
- Good knowledge of food presentation and plating.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Valuable teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail.

- Experience & Qualification
- 2–5+ years of experience as a Continental/Italian Chef or in a similar role.
- Hotel, restaurant, café, resort, or fine-dining experience preferred.
- Culinary/hotel management qualification will be an added advantage.
