? Hiring: Technical Assistant | Mumbai

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Technical Department in Mumbai . The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a Ship Management Company, Shipping Company, or Maritime Technical Office and be eager to develop their career in technical fleet management.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and update vessel technical records, certificates, reports, and equipment documentation.
- Support technical superintendents in tracking maintenance activities, defects, surveys, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with vessels, service providers, and internal teams for routine technical follow-ups.
- Maintain technical databases, PMS updates, and Excel-based trackers.
- Assist in preparing reports, technical summaries, and documentation for audits, inspections, and dry docking projects.
- Organize technical meetings and monitor action item follow-ups.

Requirements

✅ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,



Naval Architecture, or related Engineering discipline.

✅ 1-2 years of experience as a Technical Assistant or in a similar technical support role within a Ship Management Company, Shipping Company, or Maritime Industry .

Working knowledge of:

- Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS)
- Technical documentation and certification management
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Vessel maintenance processes and marine terminology
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
