We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant to support and enhance its Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financial modules and a strong understanding of core financial processes, accounting principles, and cross-functional integrations.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and end users to support day-to-day operations, analyze financial transactions, participate in testing activities, and provide post-go-live support within the Oracle Fusion Financials ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and maintain Oracle Fusion Financial modules.
- Work with business users to understand requirements and provide functional solutions.
- Analyze financial transactions and ensure accurate accounting across integrated modules.
- Support end-to-end business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- Assist in issue resolution, troubleshooting, and user support activities.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities.
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure proper accounting flow and integration between financial and related business modules.
- Provide post-go-live support and user guidance on Oracle Fusion Financial applications.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure smooth system operations and process improvements.
Required Experience
- 5–6 years of experience as an Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with the latest versions of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including Redwood UI.
- Strong functional knowledge of the following Oracle Fusion Financial modules:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Expense Management
- Landed Cost Management (LCM)
- Treasury
- Import / Export processes
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, including:
- Profit & Loss (P&L;)
- Balance Sheet
- Trial Balance
- Understanding of end-to-end financial transaction flows within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong functional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with business users and stakeholders.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working in an onsite workplace in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Nigeria on a permanent basis.
