### Job Title

*Senior Food Analyst*

- Job Summary

We are looking for a *Senior Food Analyst* with strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in food testing and analysis. The candidate will be responsible for performing, reviewing, and supervising food analysis as per approved methods, SOPs, and laboratory quality requirements.

- Key Responsibilities

* Perform and review analysis of food samples as per approved testing methods.

* Conduct *proximate, chemical, and instrumental analysis* as applicable.

* Perform tests for parameters such as moisture, ash, protein, fat, fibre, acidity, salt, sugar, etc.

* Prepare and verify samples, reagents, standards, and solutions.

* Operate and monitor laboratory instruments and equipment.

* Review analytical results, calculations, worksheets, and raw data.

* Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

* Guide and support junior analysts in laboratory activities.

* Identify and troubleshoot analytical and instrument-related issues.

* Maintain test records, logbooks, worksheets,



and other laboratory documentation.

* Support method validation, verification, and quality control activities.

* Ensure compliance with *SOPs, GLP, and ISO/IEC 17025* requirements.

* Maintain laboratory safety, housekeeping, and good laboratory practices.

* Coordinate with the concerned departments regarding testing requirements and results.

- Required Skills

* Robust hands-on knowledge of *food testing and analytical techniques*.

* Good knowledge of food testing methods and sample preparation.

* Ability to review and interpret analytical results.

* Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to guide and supervise junior laboratory staff.

* Good documentation and laboratory practices.

* Knowledge of *FSSAI testing requirements and ISO/IEC 17025*.

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Qualification

- M.Sc/M.Tech./B.Tech./B.Sc.* in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a relevant field.
