Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Solution Architect with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex warehouse management solutions. The candidate should have strong functional expertise in EWM, experience with end-to-end implementations, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the solution architecture and design for SAP EWM on S/4HANA.
- Define end-to-end warehouse management solutions aligned with business and supply-chain objectives.
- Lead SAP EWM fit-gap analysis, requirement gathering, solution workshops, and process design .
- Design solutions for:
- Inbound & Outbound Processing
- Putaway & Picking
- Warehouse Replenishment
- Wave Management
- Handling Units
- Physical Inventory
- Internal Warehouse Movements
- Cross-Docking
- Kitting / Value-Added Services
- Labor Management
- Slotting & Rearrangement
- Yard Management
- Warehouse Monitoring
- Design and implement Embedded EWM on SAP S/4HANA solutions.




- Define integration architecture between EWM and S/4HANA MM, SD, PP, TM, QM, and Finance .
- Design integration with external systems such as WMS, MES, TMS, automation systems, WCS/WES, and third-party logistics platforms .
- Provide architectural guidance for warehouse automation and Material Flow System (MFS) where applicable.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend standard SAP functionality versus enhancements/custom development.
- Define solution principles, architecture standards, integration patterns, and technical dependencies.
- Review functional and technical specifications prepared by EWM consultants and development teams.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices and clean-core principles .
- Lead design of master data, warehouse structures, storage types, activity areas, work centers, packaging specifications, and warehouse processes.
- Guide configuration of complex EWM functionality and troubleshoot critical issues.
- Oversee integration, performance, testing, cutover, migration, and deployment activities.
- Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Conduct solution reviews and ensure quality of deliverables across EWM workstreams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration teams, and third-party vendors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP EWM consultants.
- Prepare and maintain solution architecture documents, process flows, design documents,



and integration specifications .

Required Skills

- 12+ years of SAP EWM experience with significant Solution Architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM on S/4HANA .
- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP EWM implementations/rollouts .
- Strong knowledge of SAP EWM architecture and warehouse processes.
- Experience with Embedded EWM and S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of EWM configuration and integration.
- Experience integrating EWM with:
- S/4HANA MM
- SD
- PP
- QM
- TM
- SAP ERP
- Strong understanding of warehouse master data and organizational structures .
- Experience with complex warehouse process design and optimization.
- Good understanding of EWM RF Framework, PPF, qRFC, Handling Units, Waves, POSC/LOSC, and warehouse monitoring .
- Experience with EWM integration and interfaces , including APIs, IDocs, web services, and middleware.
- Strong understanding of SAP Integration Suite/CPI is preferred.
- Experience with warehouse automation, MFS/WCS/WES , is an advantage.
