Description
The Assistant Consultant- Project Coordinator will support AUS Mining projects by assisting in project coordination, maintaining project documentation, tracking actions and deliverables, and supporting communication between project stakeholders. The role works closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, project controls, and commercial functions to ensure efficient project execution and reporting.
Responsibilities
• Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project activities, deliverables, and action items.
• Planning & Scheduling: Support MSP/P6 schedule updates and progress tracking.
• Reporting: Prepare project reports, dashboards, and meeting minutes.
• Risk & Change: Maintain project trackers and registers (risks, issues, actions, and changes).
• Governance: Support project compliance, approvals, and governance requirements.
• Data Management: Maintain project documentation, records, and reporting systems.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with PMs, engineers, clients, and project teams.

• Basic project coordination and administrative skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and global teams.
• Understanding of project delivery processes and project lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience supporting engineering, mining, EPCM,
or infrastructure projects is desirable.
Tools:
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Exposure to Power BI and project reporting tools is desirable.
• Understanding of project governance and document control processes.
• Familiarity with risk, issue, and action tracking methodologies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Project Management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Relevant mining, EPCM, or infrastructure project experience preferred.
