Position : Design Manage/ Fashion Designer

Salary : USD 3500 to 4000 NET

Location : Dhaka , Bangladesh

Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager / Fashion Design skilled responsible for leading the fashion design and product development function, developing innovative and commercially viable designs, managing design teams, and ensuring products align with international fashion trends and global brand requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in apparel, denim, woven garments, jackets, or outerwear, along with proven exposure to international fashion brands and a strong professional design portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the overall fashion design and product development function.
- Develop creative and commercially viable fashion concepts aligned with international trends and market requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fashion designers and design professionals.
- Develop seasonal collections, concepts, mood boards, color palettes, prints, and garment designs.
- Conduct fashion trend research and identify emerging international trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and design directions.
- Work closely with merchandising, product development, production, and technical teams to ensure successful execution of designs.
- Collaborate with international clients, buyers, and fashion brands to understand design requirements and expectations.
- Oversee the development of denim,



woven garments, jackets, outerwear, and other apparel categories. Ensure designs meet international quality, aesthetic, functionality, and commercial standards.
- Review and approve design concepts, samples, prototypes, and final products. Maintain a solid understanding of global fashion markets, consumer preferences, and competitor trends. Build and maintain a professional fashion design portfolio showcasing innovative and commercially successful designs.
- Drive continuous innovation and improvement across the design and product development process. Represent the design function in meetings with international clients, brands, and other key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field. 5–10 years of relevant experience in fashion/apparel design, preferably with experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Proven experience working with international fashion brands, global apparel companies, or international fashion markets.
- Strong knowledge of fashion trends, garment construction, fabrics, textiles, colors, and materials. Experience in denim, woven garments, jackets, or outerwear will be highly preferred. Strong fashion design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and commercial design experience.
- Excellent understanding of international fashion trends and global market requirements. Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and team-management skills
