About This Role

IdentityIn is looking for a Co-Founder who is also a Strategic Partner and Investor — someone who brings not just domain credibility and hands-on involvement, but also a genuine ownership stake in the company's outcome. This is a founding-team role, not an advisory or consulting engagement: you will help shape the direction of the business, not just comment on it.

This role is offered purely on an equity basis — there is no salary component at this stage. It is best suited to someone who believes deeply in IdentityIn's vision and wants to build it as a genuine co-owner, rather than someone seeking near-term cash compensation.

Who We're Looking For

Preferred Profile

• Deep domain expertise in HR,



the Education industry, or Career Coaching / Career Strategy.

• A strong professional network across schools, colleges, universities, corporates, or the HR/recruiting ecosystem — someone who can open doors, not just offer opinions.

• Based in Bangalore, or able to work in a genuine hybrid capacity with regular in-person availability there.

• Comfortable operating as both a hands-on strategic partner and, where relevant, bringing an investment perspective to the table.

Alternative Profile

• Candidates with a solid AI/ML Engineering background are also welcome to apply, particularly those who can contribute to IdentityIn's core technical/AI capability, Product strategy and roadmap alongside the strategic and investment dimension of the role.

What You'll Do

• Help shape IdentityIn's overall business strategy and growth direction as a member of the founding leadership team.

• Bring domain credibility to the product — ensuring career, HR, and education-related offerings are accurate, relevant, and trusted by the market (for domain-background candidates).

• Alternatively, contribute directly to AI/ML product capability and technical strategy (for engineering-background candidates).

• Open doors and lend credibility with schools, colleges, universities, corporates, or investors through your existing network.

• Represent IdentityIn in key strategic conversations — partnerships, early customer/institutional relationships, and fundraising conversations.





• Participate in key business decisions as a co-founder, not as an external advisor.

Vesting

Standard founder-style vesting is expected (e.g., a cliff period followed by vesting over several years) — exact terms to be finalized directly with candidates.

The engagement model is expected to evolve as IdentityIn secures funding and scales — to be discussed as the company progresses.

Note: This is a working structure, not a finalized legal offer. Exact equity percentage, vesting terms, and any investment component will be discussed and documented individually with each candidate before formal agreement.
