Responsibilities

Responsibility for this position is to develop embedded software for Honeywell fire detection systems requiring expertise in various technologies like C++ programming, RTOS and Linux system programming.

1. Positive Experience in embedded firmware design and development, experience in microcontroller & microprocessor design and interfacing
2. Experience with hardware-software co-design methodologies, enabling seamless collaboration and optimization between hardware and software components.
3. Experience in RTOS, Linux, communications (TCP/IP, RS485, CAN, I2C, SPI,UART)
4. Strong experience in OOAD concepts, C++programming
5. Knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals
6. Working experience in Yocto-Linux customization and bring-up
7. Well versed with Scaled Agile (SAFE)
8.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and systems engineers to ensure integrated and robust system designs.
9. Lead technical problem-solving efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in embedded software development processes

Good communications, presentation skills and ability to handle multiple activities/priorities effectively

Qualifications

Exposure to the following areas is an added advantage

1. Candidate from BE/MTech in CSE/ECE with 12+ years for experience
2. Experience and understanding of cyber security assessments and measures to prevent security risks in the system
3. Understanding of Fire Regulatory Standards EN54, UL 864
