At BMW TechWorks India, a joint venture between the BMW Group and Tata Technologies, we engineer in India for the world. With our offices in Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai we are a key building block in delivering software and IT solutions for whole BMW. Starting from contributions to the software defined vehicle (SDV), digital infotainment to automotive digital services.

In our project, we develop uncompromising software solutions for all Classic AUTOSAR ECUs in the BMW system. We provide standardized system function implementations on a reference AUTOSAR stack that enable easy ECU integration while ensuring robustness, reliability, and testability.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly motivated embedded software developer with a strong focus on AUTOSAR Classic. In this role, you will contribute to the development, configuration, integration, debugging, and validation of AUTOSAR-based ECU software.

What awaits you?

- You will develop and integrate software for AUTOSAR Classic-based ECUs
- You will work across the AUTOSAR Classic layered architecture, including MCAL, ECU Abstraction, Services, RTE, and Software Components
- You will develop embedded software in C, following automotive coding guidelines and MISRA-C principles
- You will configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software modules and Software Components
- You will work with AUTOSAR configuration tools such as Vector DaVinci, ETAS ISOLAR, EB tresos Studio, or Siemens CVI
- You will analyze, read, and modify ARXML descriptions and support ECU configuration and integration activities
- You will contribute to the complete software integration process, including build, link, flash, debug, and test
- You will analyze and resolve integration issues across different AUTOSAR software layers and interfaces

- You will work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, with Ethernet experience being preferred
- You will support ECU bring-up, flashing, debugging, and tracing on target hardware
- You will work with embedded systems concepts including AUTOSAR OS, interrupts, memory mapping, and linker configuration
- You will collaborate with system, software, testing, architecture, and integration teams in a cross-functional environment
- You will contribute to continuous improvement of software integration, development, and build processes
- You will work according to V-Model and/or Agile development methodologies
