Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CAD Design Engineer with experience in piping, structural, fabrication, and machinery design. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and either Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Plant 3D, with robust knowledge of engineering standards, GD&T;, and manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Study P&IDs; and develop piping routing models.

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

- Design precision mechanical parts and assembly drawings.

- Create fabrication, structural, skid piping, and piping layout drawings.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

- Coordinate with internal departments and clients through emails and meetings.

- Maintain engineering documents, drawing revisions, and project records.

- Support manufacturing and project teams by resolving design-related issues.

- AutoCAD

Technical Skills
- Piping routing and layout design

- Fabrication and structural drawing preparation

- Machinery part and assembly design

- BOM preparation

- P&ID; interpretation

- Knowledge of ANSI standards (Inch units preferred)

- GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

- Tolerance analysis, fits, and surface finish specifications

- Engineering documentation and revision control

Candidate Profile

- 4–6 years of experience as a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer.

- Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in skid piping and process equipment design.

- Exposure to client interaction and project coordination.

- Knowledge of international engineering standards and drafting practices.
