About Us
n
MOSart Labs offers industry-focused semiconductor and chip design programs built to make engineers job-ready — with advanced tracks in Design Verification, Physical Design and RTL Design, along with the IIT Bhubaneswar PG Diploma and Zero to Silicon program. Learners gain hands-on project experience, industry-tool expertise and mentorship from semiconductor professionals. We are backed by MOSart Semi, a current-generation IC design and product engineering company built by leaders with five decades of experience at TRAM Semiconductors, Micron, Texas Instruments and ams OSRAM.
n
n
Role
n
Lead the delivery of our analog and mixed-signal training tracks and train students to industry standards, so that every learner completing the track is ready to contribute to a real analog/mixed-signal design team from day one.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
• Deliver lectures and hands-on labs across CMOS analog design, data converters, power management ICs and mixed-signal design verification, using industry-standard EDA tools.
n
• Guide mini-projects and capstone projects end-to-end — specification, architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout, verification and design review.
n
• Develop and update course content — lecture material, lab manuals, assignments, assessments and project statements aligned to industry expectations.
n
• Mentor and assess students,
prepare them for technical interviews and drive measurable placement outcomes.

n
Subject Expertise Required
n
• Analog IC Design: MOS I-V characteristics, large/small-signal models, device parasitics, feedback and stability, SPICE models; amplifier topologies, cascode and differential amplifiers; current mirrors and biasing; two-stage amplifier design and pole-zero compensation; op-amp and OTA design; voltage/current references; comparators; mismatch and noise analysis.
n
• Data Converters: Sampling theory, sample-and-hold, switch design and switched-capacitor circuits; quantization and ADC/DAC metrics; SAR and pipeline ADCs; Nyquist-rate DAC architectures; sigma-delta converters; mixed-signal layout.
n
• Power Management ICs: SoC power-up sequencing, POR circuits, bandgap references, linear regulators and LDOs, LDO protection, DC-DC conversion and switching regulators, layout and floor planning.
n
• Mixed Signal Verification: Modeling analog IPs, model vs. schematic comparison, scoreboards and assertions, automated checking, testbenches and AMS verification tools.
n
Qualification
n
• Minimum: M.Tech in VLSI (or equivalent) with specialisation in Analog Design, Data Converters, Power Management IC Design or Mixed Signal Verification.
n
• Added advantage: Pursuing or holding a Doctorate in any of the above topics.
n
• Tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/SPICE, ADE-XL; exposure to layout, DRC/LVS; Verilog-AMS / SystemVerilog for verification.
