The RoleWe're hiring a Junior Business Development Manager to own the client and lead pipeline end-to-end, from first enquiry to project handover. You'll work closely with the founders, manage incoming leads, build relationships with clients, prepare quotations, and see projects through from the studio to site.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead ManagementHandle incoming leads across calls, WhatsApp, email, and website enquiries, and ensure timely follow-upQualify leads and route them to the right next step, whether a studio visit, a call, or a design consultationMaintain a clean, up-to-date record of leads and their statusBusiness DevelopmentBuild and grow relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and other trade partners as a steady source of referralsRepresent Andaman Aisle at relevant industry meetups, site visits,
and trade conversationsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities beyond the existing client baseQuotations and Project CoordinationPrepare accurate quotations based on client requirements, in coordination with the design and production teamsTrack every project from brief to delivery, keeping timelines, revisions, and approvals on scheduleCoordinate between clients, designers, and the manufacturing team to keep projects moving without gapsClient HandlingManage clients at the studio, walking them through the process, materials, and design optionsConduct or accompany site visits across Bangalore where requiredManage client expectations on timelines, customisation scope, and pricing throughout the project
QualificationsBachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in business, marketing, or design is a plus0 to 2 years of professional experience (internships count)Some exposure to sales, client-facing roles, or business development is a plus, but not required
Skills and Competencies
TechnicalComfortable with quotations, basic pricing calculations, and CRM or spreadsheet-based lead trackingWorking knowledge of MS Office / Google WorkspaceWillingness to learn furniture materials, pricing structures, and production timelines on the jobInterpersonalConfident communicator, comfortable initiating and building relationships with new contactsStrong written and verbal communication in English; Kannada or Hindi a plusOrganised, follow-through oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at onceComfortable working in a small team where ownership grows quicklyA valid two-wheeler/car license and willingness to travel for site visits across Bangalore is a plus
