About the Role:This is a high-visibility role sitting directly in the CEO’s Office at an EV manufacturing company. It sits at the intersection of finance, corporate development, and strategy.
What the role involvesYou will work closely with senior leadership on:Building and maintaining investor-grade
financial models
(P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, unit economics) for fundraising, board reporting, and strategic decisions.Creating polished
investor pitch decks and narratives
that clearly explain growth strategy, margins, and competitive positioning.Supporting
corporate development
work: fundraising processes, evaluating potential M&A; or partnerships, and coordinating due diligence.Tracking company performance against financial and operating KPIs, then flagging risks and opportunities to leadership.Working with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to turn operational data (costs, commodity prices, schemes, etc.) into board- and investor-ready insights.Preparing board materials,
investor updates, and ad-hoc strategic analyses (often on short notice).Driving special cross-functional projects assigned by the CEO’s office.
Ideal candidate profileExperience : 4–10 years combining finance and corporate development. Preferred background in investment banking, PE/VC funds, or late-stage growth startups (Series C+). Exposure to fundraising, board reporting, or M&A; is a strong plus.Skills : Robust financial modeling from scratch, polished deck-building, working knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP), sharp analytical skills, excellent communication, and high ownership/discretion (you’ll handle sensitive matters close to leadership).Qualifications : Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant); Advanced Excel/financial modeling is required; SAP/ERP familiarity is a plus.
