1. Role PurposeTo lead and strengthen the organisation’s internal communication and employer branding agenda , creating a consistent, engaging and transparent communication experience for employees across Corporate, Retail and Manufacturing.The role will be responsible for translating business priorities, leadership messages, employee initiatives and organisational culture into clear, impactful and engaging communication across appropriate channels.The position will also build and strengthen the organisation’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand , helping attract, engage and retain talent.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Internal CommunicationsDevelop and execute the annual Internal Communication Calendar aligned with business and HR priorities.Draft and publish leadership communications, employee announcements, HR communications and organisational updates.Support communication from the Chairman, MD, CEO, CHRO and other senior leaders .Translate business strategy, organisational priorities and transformation initiatives into employee-friendly communication.Manage communication across Corporate, Retail and Manufacturing employees.Develop communication campaigns around HR initiatives such as PMS, engagement surveys, HRMS, learning, rewards, policies, wellbeing and employee recognition.Ensure communication is straightforward, sharp, timely, consistent and action-oriented .Develop communication formats including:EmailersPostersNewslettersDigital bannersVideosLeadership messagesEmployee storiesTownhall communicationFAQsCampaign communicationWhatsApp / employee communication, wherever appropriate.B. Leadership CommunicationWork closely with senior leadership to understand communication priorities and convert them into effective communication.Prepare leadership messages, speeches, townhall content and employee communication.Support communication during organisational changes, new initiatives and transformation programs.Ensure consistency in tone, messaging and organisational positioning across leadership communications.Develop communication toolkits for leaders and people managers.C. Employer BrandingDevelop and strengthen the organisation’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) .Build a differentiated employer brand reflecting the organisation’s heritage, culture,



people and future aspirations.Develop campaigns showcasing:Employee storiesCareer opportunitiesLearning and developmentLeadershipEmployee achievementsWorkplace cultureSocial initiativesWomen / diversity initiativesManufacturing and retail careersCampus opportunities.Manage employer branding presence across relevant digital and social channels in partnership with the Marketing / Digital team.Support development of careers pages, recruitment campaigns and employer branding collateral.Create content that positions the organisation as an employer of choice .D. Employee Engagement CommunicationSupport the design and communication of employee engagement initiatives.Develop campaigns to drive participation in engagement surveys, employee activities and HR programs.Create employee recognition and appreciation campaigns.Develop internal campaigns around key occasions, festivals, organisational milestones and employee achievements.Capture and communicate employee success stories across the organisation.E. Content & Creative ManagementOwn the internal communication content pipeline.Work with internal teams and external agencies/designers to create high-quality communication assets.Develop concepts and briefs for videos, posters, digital campaigns and employee stories.Ensure communication is visually engaging while maintaining brand guidelines.Support creation of short-form video content for internal and employer-branding purposes.Maintain a repository of approved communication templates and brand assets.F. Communication ChannelsManage and optimise appropriate employee communication channels such as:EmailEmployee communication platformsHRMS / Employee AppWhatsApp / digital communication channelsIntranetDigital displaysNotice boardsTownhallsEmployee newslettersLeadership forums.Ensure the right message reaches the right employee segment through the right channel at the right time .G. Change & Transformation CommunicationSupport communication for major organisational initiatives including HRMS, organisational restructuring, new policies, process changes and transformation programs.Develop communication plans covering Awareness → Understanding → Acceptance → Adoption .Create FAQs, manager toolkits and employee communication packs for major change initiatives.Work closely with HR Business Partners and functional leaders to ensure effective cascade.H.

Preferred Experience4–8 years of experience in Internal Communications / Employer Branding / Corporate Communications / Employee Engagement / HR Communications .Experience in a large, multi-location organisation would be preferred.Exposure to Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, Apparel, Textiles or Consumer-facing businesses would be an advantage.Experience working directly with senior leadership is preferred.Experience managing communication across a blue-collar, Grey – Collar + white-collar workforce will be an advantage.Strong English writing skills; Tamil communication capability is highly desirable for employee communication across Tamil Nadu.5. Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be a strong communicator, storyteller and campaign manager who can understand the organisation’s culture and business priorities and convert them into communication that employees can easily understand, relate to and act upon.The person should be equally comfortable writing a Chairman’s message, developing an employee engagement campaign, creating an employee story, briefing a creative agency and coordinating a communication campaign across hundreds of stores and manufacturing locations.Role PhilosophyExpress → Listen → Act → Communicate BackThe role should help establish a communication culture where employees are not only informed, but also heard, engaged and connected with the organisation’s purpose and future.
