Job Description About the role Tipstat helps mid-market companies adopt AI where it changes the P&L; — redesigning workflows around AI agents, automating operations, and making their data and teams ready for it. Clients don't buy technology from us;
they buy outcomes: faster cycle times, lower cost-to-serve, decisions made with better information. You'll be our first dedicated seller: finding these transformation opportunities, scoping them with our delivery team, and closing them. This is a build-from-zero role. There's no inherited pipeline — you'll source your own deals, define the ICP with the founder, and build the commercial playbook from scratch. In return: a strong fixed base with uncapped commission, a direct line to the founder, and a stated path to building the sales team beneath you once you hit your number. What you'll own - The full cycle — ICP definition, outbound, discovery, solution scoping with delivery, proposals and SOWs, negotiation, close. - New accounts across the Indian mid-market, with GCC and US opportunities taken as they come. Turn assessments and pilots into multi-phase transformation programs. - Outcome-led scoping: work with our team to map a client's processes to what AI can actually do today — agent deployment, workflow automation, data readiness — and package it with a credible ROI story. - The commercial engine itself: qualification rubric, pricing guardrails, objection handling, case decks, ROI models. None of it exists yet — you'll build it. - A clean CRM and an honest forecast. We'd rather hear a bad number early than a good one late. What makes you a excellent fit - 4–7 years carrying a quota in B2B services, consulting,
or technical solution sales — full cycle and self-sourced, not passed leads. - A track record of personally closing ₹1 Cr+ in a year in project-based or services deals, or a comparable book of business. - You sell to business owners, not just IT: comfortable in a conversation about a COO's cost-to-serve or a CFO's payback period, and able to translate it into scope with our delivery team. - Enough technical fluency to be credible — you understand what AI agents and automation can and can't do, without needing an engineer in every call. - You write well. Proposals that turn a messy discovery call into clear scope and commercials someone will sign. - Builder temperament: comfortable being the only person in the sales seat for a while, and you'd rather define the playbook than inherit one. How you work with AI (non-negotiable) This is not a "familiarity with AI tools is a plus" role. We sell AI transformation — our seller has to run one personally. We expect you to show up already operating an AI-first pipeline, and in the interview we'll ask you to walk us through your stack, live. - AI SDR agents: you've deployed or seriously evaluated tools like Artisan, AiSDR, 11x, Regie, or Paperclip — you know what they're good at, where they break, and how to supervise one instead of doing its job manually. - Agentic workflow building: you build your own automations in n8n (or Make/Zapier at minimum) — list-building, enrichment, signal monitoring, routing, and follow-up run as workflows you designed, not as your Tuesday afternoon. - Research and enrichment at scale: Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent, chained together — not used one tab at a time. - AI-native selling: deep research with ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity for
