The Role

n

We are looking for a Accountannt to own our financial & Accounts operations from books to compliance to marketplace reconciliations while working directly with the founder on business decisions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly/year-end financial closing.
n
- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow reports, profitability analysis, and management dashboards.
n
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations, including filing of returns and reconciliations.
n
- Handle accounting and reconciliations across D2C and marketplace channels such as Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, Tata CLiQ, and payment gateways.
n
- Monitor inventory accounting, returns, vendor settlements, platform deductions, commission structures,



and revenue recognition.
n
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory assessments.
n
- Develop and strengthen accounting processes, SOPs, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, working capital planning, and cash flow management.
n
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and business teams to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
n
- Provide financial insights and recommendations directly to the founder to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

n

n
- B.Com/Finance degree; MCOM or MBA (Finance) preferred
n
- 3-5years in a D2C, consumer brand, or e-commerce company
n
- Solid grip on marketplace accounting & reconciliations
n
- Proficient in Tally Prime/Zoho Books + Advanced Excel
n
- Solid knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS
n
