About the Engagement n

We are engaging an independent IT Infrastructure Audit Consultant to assess and optimize the technology ecosystem of a full-service law firm headquartered in Bangalore. As the firm scales, it is seeking an objective, expert evaluation of its current infrastructure to identify risks, inefficiencies, and modernization opportunities — and to deliver a clear, prioritized roadmap for future investment.

This is a high-visibility advisory engagement, working directly with senior leadership and IT stakeholders to shape the firm's technology direction over the next 5–6 months.

What You'll Do n

n
- Assess the current state of IT infrastructure across the firm's Bangalore office and any connected locations
n
- Evaluate network architecture, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, and remote-access setups
n
- Review server, storage, and compute infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments
n
- Assess data security, access controls, and compliance posture, with particular attention to client data confidentiality obligations typical of legal practice
n
- Evaluate endpoint and device management practices across the user base
n
- Review backup, disaster recovery,



and business continuity readiness
n
- Assess IT service management, helpdesk operations, and vendor/AMC management practices
n
- Review software licensing and asset management processes
n
- Identify gaps, risks, single points of failure, and technical debt in the existing workplace
n
- Develop a future-ready, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure roadmap, sequenced by priority
n
- Present findings and recommendations directly to firm leadership and IT stakeholders
n

- Current-state infrastructure assessment report

- Gap analysis and risk register
n
- Infrastructure optimization and modernization roadmap (short / medium / long-term)

- Cost-benefit view for major recommended changes
n
- Final presentation and walkthrough with leadership and IT stakeholders

What We're Looking For nn
- Demonstrated experience auditing IT infrastructure for professional services, legal, or similarly regulated organizations (preferred)
n
- Strong understanding of data security and confidentiality requirements relevant to the legal sector
n
- Proven ability to work independently and engage directly with senior leadership and technical stakeholders
n
- Hands-on knowledge of network architecture, cloud/hybrid infrastructure, data security, endpoint management, and IT service management
n
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISA, or cloud platform certifications preferred, though not mandatory.
