We are building an on-site Data Centre Operations team for a new IDC managed-services project in Navi Mumbai.

Open Positions

n

Team Lead / Senior Data Centre Engineer – 1 position

n

Requirements:

n

n
- At least 7 years of data-centre or infrastructure operations experience
n
- Experience leading an in office technical operations team
n
- Strong service-management, reporting and customer communication skills
n
- Knowledge of incident, problem, change and escalation management
n
- Able to manage shift rosters, SLA performance, operational reporting and vendor coordination
n
- ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred
n

L2 Data Centre Engineer – 3 positions

n

Requirements:

n

n
- 3–5 years of hands-on data-centre operations experience
n
- Experience supporting servers, storage and network equipment
n
- Able to perform hardware troubleshooting, parts replacement, rack-and-stack and structured cabling
n
- Basic network troubleshooting, console connection and link-status checking
n
- Experience with OS installation, IP configuration and remote-hands support
n
- Able to handle incidents independently and coordinate with remote L3 teams or vendors
n

L1 Data Centre Technician – 2 positions

n

Requirements:

n

n
- 1–3 years of data-centre, infrastructure or hardware-support experience
n
- Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack, cabling and equipment installation
n
- Able to replace basic hardware components and connect power, network and console cables
n
- Experience maintaining asset records,



work logs and equipment movement documentation
n
- Willing to learn and work under the guidance of L2 engineers and the Team Lead
n

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide 24×7 on-site IDC operations and remote-hands support
n
- Install, remove, restart and replace servers, network equipment and hardware components
n
- Perform rack-and-stack, cabling, patching and equipment interconnection
n
- Support OS installation, IP configuration and management-card setup
n
- Assist with console access and execute approved scripts or instructions
n
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity and cabling issues
n
- Coordinate with customers, remote engineers and third-party vendors
n
- Maintain asset inventory and inbound/outbound equipment records
n
- Conduct regular inspections and promptly escalate incidents
n
- Prepare work logs, incident reports and operational documentation
n
- Follow all authorization, security, safety and change-control procedures
n

n

General Requirements

n

n
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related discipline
n
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA or server-hardware certifications are advantageous
n
- Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills
n
- Must be willing to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
n
- Must be able to work on-site in Rabale, Navi Mumbai
n
- Must be legally authorised to work in India
n
