Description
The Assistant Manager - Finance plays a crucial role in our Finance & Accounts department, overseeing financial accounting processes, statutory compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, supporting audits, and providing reliable financial information to support the finance function. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies, contributing to the overall financial health and compliance of the organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Oversee statutory compliance, including tax filings, regulatory reporting, and audit support.
- Prepare and submit timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.




- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and address any findings.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure data integrity.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as banks, investors, and regulatory bodies, on financial matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to enhance financial processes.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with a robust understanding of GAAP or IFRS.
