INTERIOR & RETAIL EXPERIENCE DESIGNER VR VIRAJYA LOCATION Dehradun / Regional Operations & Project Sites ABOUT THE COMPANY VR Virajya is an integrated luxury beauty and wellness platform. We combine a premium, company-owned chain of luxury salons, VR Virajya Luxury Salon, with a high-end, proprietary clinical skincare and grooming brand, Virajya Botanicals. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a visionary, meticulous, and execution-driven Interior & Retail Experience Designer to lead spatial design, architectural planning, visual merchandising, and retail display architecture for all upcoming flagship salons and VR Virajya Botanicals retail touchpoints. The candidate will translate our core brand language into physical environments that reflect the sophistication and detailing of a fine luxury jewellery boutique. The role will involve owning projects from spatial concept and design development through to site execution, ensuring every flagship location delivers an immersive, high-end sensory experience while strictly adhering to our standardized modular construction framework. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARCHITECTURAL PLANNING & SPATIAL LAYOUT Design and optimize multi-use commercial salon layouts ranging from 2,000 to 4,500 sq. ft. Develop effective zoning for reception lounges, styling floors, shampoo bays, private facial cabins, nail bars, and VIP bridal suites. Develop comprehensive 2D floor plans, 3D architectural renders, elevation drawings, and lighting design schemas. Ensure layouts balance functionality, customer flow, operational efficiency, and luxury aesthetics. RETAIL MERCHANDISING & BOTANICAL DISPLAY ARCHITECTURE Design custom retail display casework, illuminated wall fixtures, and countertop displays specifically optimized to showcase VR Virajya Botanicals SKU lines. Integrate the VR Virajya Botanicals brand and product identity seamlessly into salon architectural features and product display units.



Create premium retail touchpoints that enhance product visibility while maintaining the overall luxury design language. MATERIAL SPECIFICATION & STANDARDIZATION Establish a standardized "Kit of Parts" covering materials, finishes, and colour palettes to reduce store build-out time and ensure brand consistency. Source and coordinate finish samples, fabrics, laminates, lighting fixtures, and other interior and architectural materials. Select materials that can withstand high-traffic commercial salon environments while maintaining a tactile, sophisticated, and luxurious look and feel. Ensure material specifications are practical, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with the brand's premium positioning. PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SITE EXECUTION Collaborate closely with civil contractors, carpenters, lighting consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Oversee on-site execution, leasehold renovations, installation, finishing, and snagging activities. Monitor project progress against defined milestones and ensure execution quality meets approved design standards. Ensure store build-outs adhere to strict milestone timelines, including compressed fit-out schedules. Monitor project costs and ensure execution remains within allocated Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) budgets. Identify and resolve site-level design, execution, material, and coordination issues effectively. QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE 2 to 5 years of professional experience in high-end interior design, retail architecture, luxury hospitality, flagship store design,



or premium commercial interiors. EDUCATION Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Retail Design from a recognized institution. Candidates from institutions such as NIFT, NID, CEPT, or equivalent are preferred. SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator for mood boards, and MS Office/Excel. AESTHETIC ALIGNMENT A proven portfolio demonstrating a refined eye for classic elegance, rich material detailing, sophisticated lighting design, and premium commercial environments. Strong understanding of luxury interiors, spatial aesthetics, material combinations, detailing, and customer experience. EXECUTION MINDSET Strong site-coordination and project execution skills. Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, carpenters, and other execution partners. Strong vendor management and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage multiple project requirements while maintaining design quality and timelines. Willingness and agility to travel across regional project sites as required.
