The ideal candidate will be based in or near Mumbai, India. While exceptional candidates from other locations may be considered, preference will be given to individuals located within commuting distance of Mumbai as we continue to build our regional presence.About the Team
Our Business Development team is the vanguard of our business, with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) driving interest in Absolute and initiating the sales cycle. In this role, you will collaborate with our Marketing and Account Executive teams to research and build pipeline within new and existing accounts across India, Greater Asia, and ANZ.

You will follow up on both inbound and outbound leads, engage prospective customers, and create qualified opportunities for our sales organization. Your exceptional communication and critical thinking skills will enable you to quickly assess opportunities and secure meetings with key account personas for our Account Executives.



You’ll drive revenue growth from current account acquisitions and foster expansion and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.What You’ll Do
- Generate and qualify leads, identifying prospects interested in our cybersecurity solutions
- Prioritize and research prospects, understanding their current IT situation, challenges, and needs
- Engage prospective clients via phone, email, and social media (LinkedIn) to convey Absolute’s unique value propositions
- Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through outbound calling and strategic digital outreach, converting them into pipeline opportunities
- Build and prioritise strategic account lists aligned with sales team members within defined segments
- Foster alignment and positive partnerships with internal Field Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams
- Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed
- Utilise our CRM system (Salesforce) to log activity and lead conversion data for business transparency
