Job Purpose: To lead and drive the Quality function across Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Receipt Quality Assurance (RQA), Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA), Customer Quality, New Product Quality Planning, and Compliance Management, ensuring zero-hour customer complaints, robust supplier performance, manufacturing excellence, and successful recent product launches while maintaining compliance with quality standards and audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Quality Management
- Drive the organization's objective of achieving Zero Hour Customer Complaints.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing-related customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure timely response and closure of customer complaints as per defined response timelines.
- Track and improve Engine RPT performance at customer locations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to eliminate recurring quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain robust incoming and in-process quality control systems.
- Drive reduction in:
- LR PPM (Line Rejection Parts Per Million)
- GR Rejection Percentage
- In-house RPT cases.
- Ensure effective execution and closure of:
- Process audits
- Product audits
- Layered audits
- Monitor quality trends and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Lead problem-solving activities using quality tools such as 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
KPI: LR PPM reduction, GR Rejection reduction., Process/Product audit closure compliance. and In-house RPT reduction
3. Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)
- Develop supplier quality improvement plans and monitor supplier performance.
