About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist

In this role, you will:
- Consult on activities requiring specialized expertise related to maintaining complete and accurate records of payroll information
- Contribute in providing work direction, coaching, and managing daily schedules
- Consult in payroll inquires, records, deductions, and procedures
- Improve and update operations by maintaining accurate records of payroll information
- Guide resolution of payroll regulatory risks by applying understanding of current and recent industry practices
- Monitor evolving industry changes and communicating implications to team
- Review complex data with legal compliance and the impact it will have on resources
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Improve customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, or Payroll Tax, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:



work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax, Compliance, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- University degree in Business or related discipline.
- Experience in India End-to-End Payroll Operations, final settlement preparation & Payroll Statutory compliance (Income tax, PF, PT, ESIC, LWF, NPS, Gratuity, Stat bonus, etc.)
- Preparing Monthly Payroll inputs and validate the same via maker checker process, 100% of Payroll output validation from Gorss to net for active employees and final settlement (including statutory deductions).
- Preparing payroll related MIS reports like CTC variance, head count, pay revision and quality reports.
- Experience in Onboarding
