Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer to support database development, performance optimization,
troubleshooting, governance, and reliability initiatives while partnering closely with Development, Product, Infrastructure, and DBA teams to deliver scalable, high-performing data solutions. This position will be Full time, Hybrid - Bengaluru.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and other database objects
- Write effective, maintainable SQL and optimize existing queries for performance, scalability, and accuracy
- Analyze query execution plans and optimize joins, indexing strategies, statistics, aggregations, and data-access patterns
- Monitor database performance metrics including CPU, memory, I/O, blocking, locking, deadlocks, waits, throughput, and storage utilization
- Establish database performance baselines and implement performance improvement initiatives
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement corrective actions t
