We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AC Substation & Grid Engineer for GMR Renewables Engineering team with 7-10 Years or >2 GW of relevant experience to Leads HV/EHV substation engineering, grid interconnection, evacuation systems and ensuring full compliance with CEA, STU/CTU, DISCOM and grid‑code requirements in utility‑scale solar & wind plants, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Detail engineering or Switchyard and HV/EHV systems upto 400kV level
- Preparation & review of Single Line Diagrams (SLD), switchyard layouts and components, technical specifications and BOQs
- Protection philosophy & relay coordination
- Load flow & grid studies
- Utility interface & approvals
- Commissioning & synchronization support

- Ensure engineering solutions align with business objectives for cost-effective project execution.
- Maintain compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of power evacuation and grid feasibility studies.
- Secure necessary grid interconnection approvals in compliance with regulations

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 7-10 years in EHV substations and grid systems preferably with an IPP, OEM, renewable energy developer, or technical consultant.
- Proven experience with upto 400 kV substations, protection, grid codes
- Proven experience in power evacuation feasibility, and grid integration studies.
- Robust understanding of FDRE, RTC, and BESS integrat
