The Role
Your role
As a Security Operations Specialist, you will support the continuous protection of Kyndryl and customer environments by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events. Your role will focus on day-to-day security operations, incident handling, and operational controls that reduce risk and improve resilience. Success is demonstrated through timely detection, clear incident documentation, and effective coordination with technical and business teams.

What you will do




- Monitor security alerts and event data from security platforms to identify potential threats
- Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents following defined runbooks and escalation paths
- Perform initial analysis to determine scope, impact, and urgency of incidents
- Execute containment actions such as isolating systems or blocking access under approved procedures
- Maintain accurate incident records, timelines, and evidence to support reporting and reviews
- Support vulnerability management activities, including validation and tracking of remediation actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations processes, playbooks, and controls
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers during incident response and post incident reviews
