This consulting chance is ideal for an experienced data platform architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while shaping long-term data strategy. You will advise senior engineering leaders on modern data engineering practices, AI-native architectures, and enterprise-scale platform design. Working in a highly collaborative remote environment, you will assess existing systems, define future-state architecture, and provide strategic guidance across data infrastructure, governance, and platform modernization. Rather than focusing on day-to-day development, you will deliver architectural expertise, knowledge transfer, and actionable roadmaps that enable sustainable growth. Your work will directly influence the evolution of advanced data platforms supporting large-scale analytics and AI-driven capabilities.

Accountabilities:
- Assess the current data platform, architecture,



and engineering practices, identifying technical gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement while delivering a comprehensive roadmap for modernization.
- Educate engineering leadership and architects on modern data engineering concepts, covering traditional architectures as well as AI-native approaches through workshops, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Design scalable target-state data platform architectures spanning data ingestion, transformation, storage, orchestration, governance, observability, and serving layers.
- Develop architectural strategies for PostgreSQL migration, workload optimization, performance, replication, partitioning, and phased migration from existing database environments.
