Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous refinement of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) across curriculum, assessment, and transdisciplinary units in alignment with IB standards.
- Coach and mentor homeroom and specialist teachers in PYP pedagogy, unit planning, and learner profile development to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery.
- Design and facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs) focused on inquiry-based teaching, concept-driven planning, and authentic assessment strategies.
- Oversee the development and moderation of PYP assessment tools,



ensuring alignment with IB Learner Profile, Attitudes, and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
- Collaborate with school leadership to integrate PYP with school-wide policies, SEL initiatives, and parent engagement frameworks.
- Facilitate IB authorization and evaluation processes, including documentation, self-study, and coordinator reporting to the IB Office.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
- IB PYP Coordinator Certification or equivalent IB Professional Development training
- Experience with IB PYP curriculum framework and programme standards
- Curriculum mapping and unit planner development
- Assessment design & moderation (formative/summative)
- Teacher mentoring and instructional coaching
- IB Learner Profile and Approaches to Learning (ATL) integration

Preferred
- IB MYP or DP experience (as a coordinator or teacher)
- Experience with IB programme evaluation or authorization processes
- Familiarity with IB’s eA
