Engagement Manager

Can you spot a revenue opportunity sitting inside a project that's already 80%
delivered? Do you get as much energy from a well-run QBR as you do from closing
a new SOW? Can you hold a PM accountable for a slipping RAID log and negotiate
an MSA renewal in the same week?

In this gig,

1. You turn happy clients into bigger contracts
You're always scanning existing accounts for the next upsell, cross-sell, or
team-extension chance — and you know the difference between a client
who's ready for that conversation and one who isn't yet. You lead SOWs, RFP
responses, and commercial pitches for account expansion, and you build
relationships into new business units before anyone asks you to.

2. You're the person the VP calls first
You're the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for senior client
stakeholders — Directors, VPs, sometimes the C-suite. You run the governance
cadence that keeps everyone honest: MBRs, QBRs, and the kind of




straight-talk that catches a retention risk three months before it becomes a
lost account.

3. You know exactly what the account is worth
You own the commercial side of the relationship — margins, utilization,
budget health — and you lead contract renewals, MSA negotiations, and
pricing conversations without needing someone else to make the call.

4. You run a tight ship across the whole portfolio
You partner with PMs and Tech Leads to keep milestones, SLAs, and quality on
track, and you don't let "we'll document it later" become a habit. You
mandate and audit RAID logs, RACI, change control, and milestone tracking
across every engagement, and you enforce a real change control gate — no
scope, timeline, or budget shift moves without a documented impact
assessment and sign-off. You standardize a portfolio-wide health scorecard
and review it on a fixed cadence, so nothing surprises you.
