Accountabilities





The Senior Fuel Handling Systems Design Engineer will lead the design, integration, and qualification activities for fuel handling systems and related mechanical process systems within advanced reactor projects. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure designs meet technical, regulatory, and performance requirements.
- Design nuclear fuel handling systems and subsystems from initial requirements definition through final design delivery.
- Coordinate and integrate engineering analyses, including thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, and other technical evaluations into plant designs.
- Provide mechanical system design direction related to thermal and fluid requirements.
- Ensure the appropriate application of engineering codes and standards, including ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, and other applicable industry requirements.
