Our mission is to enable every person on Earth to travel freely.
Travel should feel exciting. Instead, too much of it is still defined by paperwork, uncertainty, and processes that were never designed for travellers.
Atlys is changing that.
We’re building an AI-first platform that removes friction and uncertainty from travel. To date, we’ve processed visas for 1M+ travellers across 127 countries. But we’re still early.
The Role
Travel is one of the consumer categories where the hard part isn't discovery, it's execution. Booking a flight takes seconds. Actually getting on it means visas, permits, documents, eligibility rules and deadlines spread across government and partner systems that don't talk to each other and don't behave the same way twice.

Atlys is rebuilding that layer across 127 destination countries. Every one is a long-running, stateful workflow with an anxious traveller on one end and an unpredictable third-party system on the other. That makes travel an unusually positive problem for agentic systems,



and unusually unforgiving of how they normally fail. A demo that works 80% of the time is worthless when the failure mode is someone missing a flight.

You'll own three of our most critical teams: AI, Backend and Infrastructure. You'll set technical direction, build engineering leaders, and keep the systems underneath Atlys scaling as product, traffic and complexity compound. You report directly to the CTO.
The Job
Build multi-agent systems that carry real business outcomes. Stateless agents on durable execution, so a workflow spanning days can retry, resume and hand off to a human without corrupting state. You own the harness, the eval infrastructure, the guardrails, and the cost and latency envelope that decides whether any of it is viable in production.
Scale the core backend architecture. Traffic, product surface and country-specific complexity are all growing at once. Keep p99s flat while they do, and make the architectural bets early enough
