The Leasing Specialist would oversee lease / rental operations of the commercial space. This would include business development, researching the background of lease applicants, negotiating lease agreements, and completing all necessary paperwork. In addition, researching current trends and lease prices to ensure that properties offer competitive rates to prospective tenants and suggestions to improve occupancy rates is also part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee lease / rental operations of commercial space and mall-leasng activities
- Market research and analysis
- Identifying appropriate brands to fit in the retailer mix at the mall
- Negotiating and closure of lease agreements with international and domestic brands
- Communicating the terms & conditions of leasing out the space giving complete commercial details
- Execute the procedure of handover and takeover
- Efficiently handling the due diligence and legalities of the transaction
- MIS generation
- Any other task assigned by Reporting Manager.
Desired profile
- A Graduate / Post Graduate in any field
- 7 - 8 years of proven experience in end-to-end leasing activities of commercial space and mall leasing, especially IT / BT and co-working spaces
- Smart and agile with a good temperament
- Positive communication and interpersonal and project management kills
- Ability to learn quickly and should think out of the box in order to achieve set goals
- Eager to learn, adaptable and flexible
