Octa Orient offers opportunities to work on diverse projects and develop professional skills in a supportive, design-driven environment.Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of architectural and interior projects, working in office at the Coimbatore North office in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing drawings and 3D models, contributing to design presentations, and coordinating with senior architects and designers. The role involves supporting project documentation, participating in site visits and measurements, and helping ensure design intent is maintained through various project stages. The Junior Architect will also collaborate with project teams to address technical details,



respond to client feedback, and align work with project timelines and quality standards.Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and plans.Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts where relevant to design tools, workflows, or building information modeling (BIM).Basic Project Management skills to assist in organizing tasks, tracking progress, and supporting coordination among team members.Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent, recognized architectural qualification.Strong visual, spatial, and technical detailing skills, with attention to accuracy and quality.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and interact professionally with clients and contractors.Willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and grow within a fast-paced project environment; prior internship or junior-level experience in an architectural or interior firm is an advantage.
