Its leadership has received multiple industry accolades and awards for innovation in design, product development, and furniture.Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will be a full-time, on-site team member based in South Mumbai, responsible for leading residential and kitchen interior projects from concept to completion. The role includes developing design concepts, creating detailed layouts, and coordinating space planning to align with client needs and brand standards. This person will prepare and review construction drawings, select materials and collaborate closely with architects, Designers and vendors/ contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. Daily responsibilities also involve client presentations, design revisions, preparing/ presenting quotations, site visits,



and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Interior Designer will support project scheduling, and help maintain Akruti Living’s high standards of innovation and design quality.QualificationsStrong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to develop functional and aesthetic layouts for residential and kitchen spaces.Understanding of Architecture and related principles to integrate interior concepts with structural and building requirements.Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and joinery details.Experience in selection and specification, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and accessories that align with design concepts and budgets.Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.Experience in leading interior projects end-to-end, preferably in high-end residential or modular kitchen environments.Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) & Microsoft Office for quotations and presentations. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and on-site teams.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, design-focused setting.
