We’re hiring for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients.
About
We are hiring for a Series B funded quick-commerce company founded by IITR alumnus, growing at 30% month on month. They are one of the few startups in India to have hit ■100 Crore in ARR in under 2 years — with very strong product-market fit — and they're looking for people who can build for the next stage of growth.
The Role
Their product surfaces are growing fast — recent category pages, B2B ordering tools, post-order flows, and growth experiments ship every sprint. You'll be embedded in a product pod, owning design end-to-end for your surface — from user research and wireframes through to final specs and QA — collaborating daily with PMs and engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Own
End-to-End Product Design
→ Own design for a product pod — discovery, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI → Run lightweight user research and usability tests to validate design decisions → Write clear specs and work with engineers through implementation and QA
Design System Contribution
→ Build reusable components that contribute to HomeRun's design system
→ Maintain consistency with established patterns while advocating for improvements
Cross-functional Collaboration
→ Work as a true trio with PM and engineering — in the problem,
not just the solution → Participate in sprint planning, design critiques, and product reviews
→ QA your own designs in production — you're not done until it's right in the app
Growth & Experimentation
→ Design A/B test variants for conversion and engagement experiments → Iterate rapidly on experiment results — ship, learn, improve
QUALIFICATIONS
What they're Looking For
- 3–6 years in product design at a consumer app, marketplace, or e-commerce company
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design: research, IA, interaction, and visual
- Mobile-first design fluency — you design for the thumb, not the desktop
- Proficiency in Figma including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration cycles
- Bonus: experience designing for B2B or complex transactional flows
FIT SKILLS
You'll Thrive Here If
• Makes complex things feel simple — especially in SKU-heavy categories
• Contributed components to a design system other designers actually adopted
• Pushes back on specs when UX doesn't make sense — with alternatives, not just criticism
• Equally comfortable with a low-fidelity sketch and a pixel-perfect final file
